Since this week is the final week that I will be watching Sethie-toot, I thought I would post a picture for every month he's been with us!
September: His first day with us, Corbin got a kick out of helping Seth with his lunch! October: Matching boys!
November: It's funny to think that Seth wasn't walking yet looking at this picture...now he runs and jumps!
January: Sethie doing what he does best in the playroom...making a monstrous mess!
February: 3 lil monkeys!
March: one of many days spent at the park!
April: Hanging out in Seth's backyard
May: Picnics were a big hit with these three boys too!
Sethie....It's been so fun watching your grow and learn to walk and talk these past 10 months! I bet now that we don't see you everyday...you'll grow to learn my name!! (he calls me mommy since Corbin and Gage do) I can't wait to hear "Shawna!" We love you, and I'm sure we'll see you tons this summer!!
Some random pics of our Memorial Day weekend...started out Saturday morning with a sweet brother moment. I will read books to the boys and Corbin will re-read them to Gage. I think it's so sweet. Later Saturday morning and all afternoon we spent time at Celebration Park! Although I thought it was a little too chilly for the splash pad (we actually had to go back to the house after some begging by the boys to get swim clothes), the boys and a million other kids had a great time!
YEP! My boys were the only ones there that insisted on wearing goggles through the splashpad.
Sweet Gagey on the see-saw.
Sunday we spent the day running errands and getting groceries. The boys got a surprise for being good at Walmart. Here is Gagey painting with sidewalk chalk paint....which was actually Corbin's surprise present...
...and here is Corbin playing with the chalk rake..which was Gagey's present.
Okay...I had to add this picture that was taken today. Has anyone ever seen the movie "Multiplicity" with Michael Keaton? Doesn't Gage looked like "#3" from that movie. hee hee.
So...what do you do when it's perfect weather and your boys are full of energy? Ride bikes, of course!!! I found a vacant parking lot by the old fire station that they could scoot around without worrying about getting hit by cars. :)
Pedal faster! Corbin's concentrating hard, so he won't fall off the bike. Gage fell off one too many times...so by the time I took this picture...he was done!
In the middle of the bike ride...the boys started bunny hunting. (bunny running on the sidewalk) Very short attention spans!
Well, this is my first week of my break from school and there is 0% precipitation in the forecast...so I'm sure we'll be having a lot of outdoor fun this week! Stay tuned...
It is not normal to see Seth sitting still next to Corbin on the couch...the little ones never stop moving! (Don't you love Corbin's expression...not in the mood mom!) Gagey taking a breather...He was sitting down in the bedroom the same time Seth and Corbin were in the living room. Don't worry though...they all got their second wind and started steam rolling through the house....until.... ...they saw a tarantula outside the patio door!!! I freaked out and they all were mesmerized! Definitley not an ordinary day in my house...
The first little boy to make me a mother....yep, I was way too overprotective and overbearing with my first son...and Michael said that I dressed him like a girl...but I tried my best and I couldn't be more proud of the way Corbin has turned out...so I must be doing something right!!
Little Gagey officially made me a boy mom! My last baby and man oh man...he's 100% boy!!! (probably because of the fact that I loosened up) Corbin is the sweet and innocent little boy with the great manners...and Gagey is my wild, rambunctios little man that screams "Boot-ay!" in the middle of a store or restaurant! They couldn't be more opposite or more loved than they are by me! Boys- You make me so proud to be your mama...thanks for the good Mother's Day!!
I told myself that I was NEVER going to attempt it...and then I did. I took 3 boys to the mall at once...and I survived. Of course I wouldn't call it a perfect outing by any means (couple hair pulling incidents and a complete meltdown over vanilla wafers) but it was fairly decent! The only big downside to it is my reasoning behind going (looking for a new purse) never happened. Oh well! I survived and the boys had a good ole time!!
Playing at the playground at WillowBend
Blurry because of the excitement of the situation. :)
Right after this picture, Seth told me "I wan wunch!" (I want lunch!)
"HI MOM!" Corbin & Gage driving a race car. (Corbin was too involved in the game...but he still cheesed for the camera)
Surprise!! Guess who we saw up at the mall! Carter!!! Here is Carter and Seth riding in a car...way too busy to look at the camera!
