Batter Up!

Since I'm going to have to miss Gage's first t-ball game (stupid test), I decided to take a couple pics of his practice instead! So far, he's loving it!

Pretending that his bat is a horn.

Playing some catch with Coach Jeremiah. Fyi...for those that don't know...Coach Jeremiah is a good friend of daddy's.

Corbin was there to cheer on his brother!

Rolling the ball to a partner...

Water break

My sweet lil batter.

S-W-I-N-G! Wa hoo!
I can't wait to get pics in his uniform...stay tuned!

Seth's Birthday Party!

Yea Yea...I know. I suck at blogging lately. Maybe it's the "being the mom, full-time student, small business owner, kinder room mom and most recently, volunteer leader for the school carnival" that is slowing my posts down. Or it could be the strep throat I had last week or migraine this morning... ;)

Saturday was Seth's 3rd Birthday Party. I wasn't in the picture taking mood that day, so I got very few good ones. Here are the best (which isn't saying much):

sad...I know! But the boys had a ball! Hope you had a good birthday Sethie!

Stay tuned...Mr. Gage is playing t-ball!!!!

Meet Busy...aka Busy Bee!

Corbin got to bring his classroom pet home for the weekend. A sweet lil pillow pet, named Busy Bee. Directions in Busy's bag said that Busy is suppose to go wherever Corbin goes all weekend. Then there is a journal that chronicles Busy's adventures. I wrote a couple paragraphs in Busy's perspective and attached a few pics in the journal. (like the directions said to) I will copy and paste the letter at the bottom, but here are all the pics!

Journal entry to the class:
Hello everyone!
What an un-BEE-lievable weekend I had with my friend, Corbin!
Friday night was a fun night at home where I got to play with Corbin and his little brother, Gage. Wherever they went...I was invited along. I was always either in their hands or put up high off the ground. Why, you might ask? Because Corbin has a puppy named Star who would have REALLY liked to play with me too! Corbin was very careful to keep me clean!
Saturday, we went on a road trip to Waco to see Corbin's daddy race his motorcycle! Those guys can buzz around the track really fast! I was also able to meet Corbin's Mimi & Pop!
Sunday was another relaxing day. We went to Pei Wei and got food to go. Corbin got the best food, and my personal favorite...HONEY-seared chicken!! Yum! I had a great time this weekend, and maybe next time, I'll get to buzz around the race track!
Bee Cool,
Busy

Gage's 1st Day of Pre-K!

Today was Gagey's first day of school! He wasn't the happiest camper about going...but he did let me take some pics before leaving. I wanted to take my camera to the school too...but because of the hurricane that flew through North Texas, I chose to leave it at home.

He wanted to show off his backpack and lunch box. I think Gage was most excited about not having nap time at school. He has a lot of separation anxiety, and although he cried when we left him, the teachers said he did a great job the rest of the day.

I picked him up after school and he told me about his whole day! (he's been waiting to get the spotlight since big brother went to school) He had lots of fun and played Nascar with a little girl. He's learning Spanish and doing all sort of other fun things in his class! I found out today too that he has a little boy in his class that has a mommy who graduated high school with me! Small world. Even crazier part is that she has 2 boys...and her youngest is named Gage and her oldest is Cole Michael. (I, as you know, have a Corbin Michael.) Craziness! :)

Overall, he had a great first day. I think the next few times will probably be a rough start leaving mommy or daddy...but I'm really hoping he'll get more excited and happy to be there.

On another note....

Corbin has been watching his teacher write with a dry-erase marker a lot lately...and he even has a little whiteboard and dry erase marker at his desk. Today, Michael found him decorating one of my frames with a sharpie. You should have seen his face when he tried to wipe it off. Michael thought I would flip my lid...but I LOVE my newly decorated frame. I'm leaving it the way it is too.

Until next time...

When Mom's Away...

...the boys sneak out one of her cameras and play photographer. Well, Corbin plays photographer...Gage is the model.

This picture really shows that mom isn't home. Mom would never let anyone climb on top of the dressers. (especially so close to all my favorite books!) Dad is much more fun...if he even knows about this...

Overall, I think Corbin did a good job. Now if he could just learn how to use photoshop....
