We had a really good day today...and to top it off, we got a visit from Lincoln! (I L.O.V.E this pic!)
While Gage was still napping, Corbin and Lincoln had some bonding time sitting outside by the patio door. I can only imagine what they could have been talking about. Corbin had a dinosaur and Lincoln had a phone.
After Gage woke up...they started playing in the playroom. Here they look pretty calm...but the playroom was an absolute disaster area when they were finished!
I asked Lincoln if he was going to help clean up and he said "nope."
The best part of the day (mixed emotions really) is that I officially registered Corbin for kindergarten. My baby is going to be going to school in a matter of weeks. I got his school supply list and found out when "meet the teacher" night is. It's really going to happen soon...and I need to start preparing myself.
Lincoln with his most favorite toys at Aunt Shawna's house. (currently anyway)
Here is Gage having a conversation with Lincoln and acting like he knows what Lincoln just said.
Thought this would be a good picture, and asked them all nicely to look at the camera.
Next up is trying to find Gagey a good school to go to next semester. Wish me luck!
Today was our 2nd Annual Playdate in Arlington at Corbin & Gage's friends' house! Of course, one of my oldest friends went all out for the event! Great job Erica! We had Subway, dirt cups, cupcakes and lots of fun!!! Above is a list of the mini-guests...of course, my camera was almost dead, so I got about 2 pics! (just wanted to say a quick note that I LOVED spending time with the biggest friends....aka "the mommies"!!)
The 3 Muskateers...or The 3 Stooges...????
Since it has been raining most of the afternoon, Michael had the brilliant idea to go get the boys a new present...they came home with some RC cars!!! Fun times.
My Precious first-born.
Mr. Wild -n- Crazy.
sigh...anyone looking for a dog?
I literally beg Corbin to let me give her away to a family that would love her. He claims she's already with a family that loves her...I beg to differ.
It's sort of a tradition now...so we headed over to Aunt Sarah's to celebrate the 4th of July with barbeque (and fish fry) and of course, WATER PLAY! Above is Corbin about to take the plunge and below are a few pics of Gagey and Seth!
Corbin is getting much more brave around water...if you can't tell!
Sethie toot modeling the t-shirt Aunt Shawna got him. Of course, there were no sizes available for anyone else...so Seth got to be the most festive! (Corbin & Gage still had the patriotic colors though!)
"Mama's Boy" just like the shirt says...
...every year we have a cake for Mimi's birthday on the 4th.
I decided this year to let the boys make their own dessert...ice cream sundaes! Here is Mr. Corbin's!
Then came the sparklers and firecrackers!...
Gage was pretty safe...
...so was Corbin!
Sethie burned his toes! Of course, Gage and Corbin had practice the night before at Mimi & Pops!
Gagey and Seth in their matching shorts!
Precious boy. Corbin really enjoyed the firecrackers Michael got. He's pretty excited to try out some more, but we thought we would wait to do them when the police weren't out on full force trying to write up tickets. :)
After Sarah's we headed to Red, White and Boom! and watched fireworks, but I didn't get any pictures because I couldn't figure out my camera. :(
Overall a great day & night!!!
Last week of summer school!! Hoping to be able to post more! :)
