Baby Van

"I could never hold you...or tell you goodbye...
...But I'll hold you in heaven someday" -author unknown
One year ago, my precious nephew left us and went to a better place. 20 years ago this week, my father went to that same place and I can only hope he is with Van now, holding him for all of us who lost him. I miss you Vance Joseph.....and think about you everyday.

Lazy Sunday

Not too much happened this weekend but I wanted to post one last time before school starts tomorrow. I'm going to be getting home at 10pm 2 nights a week now for a couple classes and the other two will probably keep me pretty busy also. We didn't do much today. Hung out at home and went to the park after dinner...fun fun. This is my last semester of Collin College...till TWU in the spring...wish me luck!

Hangin'Around

Corbin Michael hanging out after swimming...

"Monkey Munch" (looks gross, but tastes good)

Gage Thomas "truckin" around

This is the weekend before mommy's classes start and daddy is out of town, so we're hanging around the house, just relaxing. The weekend started on Friday when we went to Gammy's house and mommy's car decided to "break". By break, I mean the engine decided to blow. We had smoke coming from under the hood all through The Colony. We also got pulled over by the police for speeding, but after mommy got done yelling at the cop about the car being a danger to her children...he let us go! Gammy took us home and spent the night and we're hanging around the house today, swimming and playing. Mommy also decided to try out a snack from her favorite show on TLC (Jon&Kate plus 8), so after lunch we made some "Monkey Munch." Yum Yum.

Rain Rain, Go Away!

Is it weird that both their feet are in the exact same position?? (playing with fun box items from US Toys)

Gage and Jersey playing tug-of-war

The weather isn't easing up much and the boys are getting a little crazy being stuck indoors. If it wasn't for the thunder and lightning, I'd let them play in the rain just to keep them from going nuts in the house!! Anyway, here are a couple pictures from today. I figure I would post as much as possible this week because fall semester starts next week and I don't know how busy I'm going to be. :)

It's A Boy!!

Best picture I could get of Jersey

Corbin and Jersey

Gagey covering up Elmo...

All the boys

Meet "Jersey" Nicholson! The boys got the 3 month old puppy this weekend from Mimi and Pop. After finding "Jersey", they placed an ad in the paper and after no calls, they decided to give him to the boys! So far, so good. Only a couple accidents in the house, but otherwise he's been really good with the boys and vice versa. He's a Scottish terrier like George Bush's dog in the White House. He's real cute and playful, and so far hasn't driven me completely insane. Stay tuned for that...

Crazy Boys!!

Two cute!!

Yes, in case you're wondering...she asked for the moose!

So, I was finishing up the final touches on my latest teacher sign, and I noticed the boys were being pretty quiet. I had just given them popsicles, so this made me a little nervous, because they were unusually quiet. I found them sitting in the entryway of the laundry room sitting in a laundry basket. They had pillows and blankets in there like it was a little bed...eating their popsicles. Considering all the fighting they had been doing lately...I thought this was a perfect "brother moment" and got out the camera!

Day at the Park

Today we met up with Sarah, Seth, Erica and her kids, Chelsi, her mom and brother, and Carter at Celebration Park in Allen! Everyone had a lot of fun! Seth peed on me and according to Corbin, he told Carson to pee in his sippy cup...after he was done with his juice of course! So not only was there playing going on...there was also a lot of peeing too! :) I didn't take many pics today but here is a couple. Now everytime I think of Celebration Park...I'm going to think of urine! ha ha.

summer school is over!

It's official...summer school is over and I made all A's! Woo hoo!! Yesterday was the last day of my speech class so I decided to keep one of the visual aids for my final speech and put it in the boys play room. I added the phrase that is on it after class. :) This class was the last one I had to take to be considered core complete...even though I have more classes than what's required for core. I could get an associates degree now...but I doubt I'll bother with that. :) I'll just move along quickly for the bachelors! I have a little over a week before fall semester starts!

Seth Allen, aka "Mr. Destruction"

Mr. Destruction himself...

First time at throwing party supplies...

In process of second time...

"I'm not doing anything..."

Gagey can't decide between mommy or daddys flip-flops

Corbin watching some 'toons

We got the pleasure of babysitting Sethie today and just like any 11 month old boy, his favorite thing to do is throw anything and everything on the floor!! It was so funny to watch. It was probably even more funny to him watching me clean up every time he did it....I would clean it up, and he would do it again. (probably just to watch me clean up after him.) It was a vicious cycle, but I loved every minute of it!! :)

Younger years....

I can't believe little Gagey is turning 2 in a couple days. It doesn't seem like that long ago that we were bringing him home from the hospital! My lil toddler is turning into a lil preschooler! Speaking of, just in case you didn't know, I quit my job at the daycare and I swear just not going today...Gage has had a happier attitude! A big amount of weight is off my shoulders!

Anyway, back to Gage...here is a few pics from the beginning of life until now...I LOVE YOU GAGEY PAGEY!

Short weekend

Boys helping while I did some teacher sign orders

Mr. Corbin IS NOT a morning person!

Playing in the pool in the backyard...precious!

Not a sign order...but one I made for the boy's MIMI!
(aka my mother in law Sheryl)

Time flew by this weekend. I guess that happens when you go back to work. Weekends are over before you know it. We didn't do much this weekend, but since Michael got me a new camera, I figured I'd snap some pictures with it. I didn't know how to use it so some pics might seem blurry, but oh well. It's not an expensive camera...it's just better than my old one...and that's all I needed. :)
