Gage's Birthday Wish List

Everyone has been asking me what Gage wants for his birthday. At the time, I had no clue, so last week I took him to the toy store to let him get some idea of what he would like. Below are some choices...that I could find pictures for.

1. Fast Lane Car Transporter (if it helps...he also commented "Mimi and Pop will get me this...")

2. Animal Planet Deep Sea Playset (this kid LOVES playsets of any kind)

3. Basketball

4. Lego City Police Boat (fyi...Gage's mom would much rather have a police boat NOT made of legos. Like I said...these are ideas of things he would like...don't necessarily have to get the exact thing ;)

5. Gassy Gus Game

6. Cars 2 Ridemakerz Grab-n-Go: Finn McMissile

7. Cars 2 Siddely the Spy Jet

8. Wrestling Ring with wrestlers

9. True Heroes Pirate Raft

10. Squinkies Skull Cavern Playset and some squinkies.

These are in no particular order and at least gives all the family and friends some ideas of the KINDS of things Mr. Gage likes to play with these days :)

Lights...Camera...Cousins!

So...since I NEVER take pics anymore, I decided to take my camera with me on one of our many trips to the "duck pond" and it was an added bonus that Lincoln was spending the night and was able to come with us...and get his picture taken.
**I'm not going to lie. 99% of the pictures I got to take were of the boys backs...because they wanted NOTHING to do with pictures for the most part.**

A mama duck just had a bunch of babies a couple weeks ago..so every night Gage and I go take our walk at the duck pond...we have to check on the babies. So cute.

Super cute pose...with a super fake smile. ugh. Again, 99% of pictures were fake smiles and back sides.

"Boys...look at the camera!" Gage refuses...Lincoln strikes a pose and Corbin makes a weird face.

Lots of running was going on...even in the extreme heat. Boys!

Corbin was my biggest supporter of the pics tonight...which is odd. He usually HATES the camera. (must have been the bribing I did for treats afterwards!)

Lincoln wouldn't take a pic with the boys here...so they took some goofy pics.

I asked for one normal shot of the two of them together...this is what I got.

My favorite. I think he kinda looks like a boy bander here...but he said he wanted to take a picture just for me and I think it turned out perfect. ;)

3 sweaty boys...almost all looking at the camera! 2 out of 3 is a miracle!!! Love these kids!

S is for...

S is for...sitter. This week I got to watch Slade a couple times while Sarah had work. Corbin was making pig snout faces at Slade in the window.

S is for... sweet. Gage is so sweet to Slade when he comes over. He plays with him and keeps him almost as entertained as Star does.

S is for... Safety. Gage was always making sure Slade wouldn't do anything to hurt himself. Of course, I was always right there to make sure too...but let Gage think he was the babysitter.

S is for....ah.... Sage. That rhymes with Gage! Yes...I really do have a college degree.

S is for...spider monkey. Gage is a monkey and literally climbing the walls at times. This time it was to get a laugh out of Slade.

S is for.... slip...which is what I did by slipping in this pic of Carson and Corbin. We had a playdate at Erica's this week and have sort of made it a summer tradition now to visit with our friends! They always have such a great time!

S is for... silly. Gage was pretending that Slade was tackling him down. Then Slade would try to "give Gage kisses" although it looked like he was trying to bite him instead. ;) Slade was pretty sleepy at this point.

S is for... sugar. Gage showing Slade a real kiss. :)

S is for...sharing, which Corbin wasn't willing to do with Slade when working on his precious artwork. Slade decided to slobber on a marker instead. ;)

S is for... Slade. I'm running out of S words.

S is for... smile. I love Gage's sly little smiles. :)

S is for...smart boy! I'm sorry...but he really is. :) He managed to be able to play on his own and was able to get Gage out of his hair while Slade was over. He doesn't have to be as sneaky as usual. ;)

Summer-time SLACKER!

Okay...I have really sucked it up with picture taking AND posting to the blog this summer~ Blame it on the graduating college and trying to find a job thing. STRESSFUL! Anyway, here are some pics of some of our happenings this summer. Above is Corbin slippin and slidin'

We were over at Seth's house playing in the backyard...water is a must in these temperatures. I don't even know when this was...but I know it was after school got out!

Today (easy to remember) Sarah and Shawn brought the boys over for a bit!

The reason? So Uncle Michael could give Seth a haircut to "look like Corbin and Gage!"

...and this pic turned out blurry! I don't know how to use my camera...there is another excuse for not using it more!! Anyway, I think his hair turned out good. He looks much older! If you ask his mom though...she might not agree. ;)
